Are computer games easier to hack then console games?
I was thinking about buying an Xbox and purchasing COD4, but I was also considering buying a new computer and getting COD4 because I'm better with a keyboard and mouse when playing FPS games. The only problem is, I'm afraid the computer version will have more hackers, because most FPS Computer games like Combat Arms are full of them and they never go away.Do they hack to the point where the game starts to suck because theres too many hackers?

Remote desktop computer games?
I have a average laptop and a high spec pc, however i want to play games on the main LCD tv downstaires without having to lug my main computer up and down. I have used remote desktop connection before so i can set it up it was really a simple of question of 1 would the game run smoothly?2 if i plugged my USB port controllers in to my laptop could i then play the games though the remote desktop using it.3 is there anything else i should know?
My computer games crash and give texture glitches. what causes this?
Basically games crash, give weird glitches, freeze, or do all sorts of funky stuff. I've had one blue screen but that was awhile back. I've narrowed the problem down to either my power supply, my video card, or both. My question is just reassurance. Can a faulty power supply or a power supply that is not powerful enough to support a higher end video card cause the problems I'm having?The reason I'm sure the PSU is possibly the problem is an warning used to pop up when I would start my computer and flat out say " Video card not receiving sufficient power." This warning had been up at least 4 months before my problems started to occur. Could I have also caused damage to my video card by still playing games to this point?The 6 pin connector is in. That was the first thing i checked.The 6 pin connector is a lead from the psu.I just made sure that nothing was overloaded by completely unplugging the psu and reconnecting it myself. checking to see if problem is solved I'm not 100% convinced but it looks like your suggestion did the trick for now. THANKS saved me at least 100 bucks.SCRATCH THATlike i said i wasn't 100% convinced. and well it's no longer freezing or crashing. but there are still texture glitches.
Characters lag in my computer games (offline)?
When I play games such as Half life 2 even down to simple flash games my characters lag. For example, when I take my finger off the forward key the character keeps moving forward. I know my computer can handle it because i used to be able to play half life 2 Ep 2 with no problems. Any ideas?
Question about lagging on online computer games?
Ok I just got counter strike and for some reason when I play it it works fine for the first 5 minutes but then all of a sudden I start to lag too much to play, why is this happening and how can I fix this problem? Thanx, and have a happy 4th
